Radio listenership up in the Free State
According to the latest RAMS figures, there has been a general decline in commercial and community radio listener figures countrywide, but OFM has bucked this trend by showing the strongest growth in the country. The new figures indicate that the station has grown from 514 000 to 542 000 listeners in central South Africa. Lyndon Johnstone, Managing Director of OFM, says the Free State is the only province where more people listen to radio, for longer periods of time.
