Disability should be part of mainstream development
"Mainstreaming Disability in Society" is the theme of this year's three-day Disability Conference, 1 - 3 November 2006, Gallagher Estate, collocated alongside the Disability 2006 exhibition, 2 - 4 November. "Disability needs to become and remain part of mainstream development, planning and implementation," says conference spokesperson Kim Krynauw of Nthuse Diversity Management Solutions. Targeting both trade and consumer audiences, Disability 2006 is aimed at anyone involved in purchasing equipment and services, as well as all end users, carers and healthcare professionals.
