Real Simple's average sales for Jan - June 2006 is 37 332, following the release of the Apr - Jun 2006 quarterly ABC figures of 34 502. According to publishers 8 Ink Media, the result reflects the magazine's ability to have tapped directly in the highly prized affluent, educated women's market and its "consistent advertising support from leading local and multinational brands." Marketing initiatives include the recent launch of the Real Simple Women's Network in July and the rollout of a new TV campaign via DStv, M-Net and KykNet in September.
