Marie Claire SA launches new fashion awards

Marie Claire South Africa joins its international counterparts in awarding the best in local and international fashion with its new Marie Claire Prix de la Mode Awards SA. These will recognise and award the best South African fashion designer, best design newcomer and best model, based on the shows held at Sanlam SA Fashion Week, MTN Durban Fashion Week and Nokia Cape Town Fashion Week. The awards ceremony is scheduled for February 2007 and results will be published in the March 2007 edition of Marie Claire South Africa.
