Runner's World introduces Hall of Fame

Five South Africans were recognised for their contribution to South African running at the inaugural Runner's World Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, where nine-time Comrades champion Bruce Fordyce, long-serving administrator Cheryl Winn, author Tom Cottrell, former SA marathon record holder Zithulele Sinqe and the late Wally Hayward were applauded. Says Runner's World editor, Mike Finch, "We wanted to reward those who had done more than just perform well and it is a proud moment for RW to recognise them."
