    A marketplace without Marketplace?

    Four months after the story first broke, word is that Caxton is still deciding whether to shelve media and marketing tabloid, Marketplace, or turn it into a quarterly. Good news, is that the evergreen Cliff Buchler, is editing the latest issue, due out the second week of October. Although the market is becoming overtraded in the media and marketing space, revenues continue to slide and unfortunately, veteran publications like Marketplace are often the causality. As a former editor of Marketing Mix, I really hope that Marketplace does survive, as it has its own unique niche and has filled it admirably over the years.
