Domain Name Authority donated domain name

The Department of Communications has for the past week been advertising for nominations to serve on the Domain Name Authority as required by the recent ECT Bill, however applicants found that their emails were bouncing from the address provided (saPanel@selection.co.za). One of the applicants, Wayne Diamond, investigated and discovered that the 'selection.co.za' domain name had never been registered. He has now registered the domain name and also set up a website, www.selection.co.za. "I registered the domain name on behalf of the government to ensure that applicants will be able to apply for the position," he said.
