    Internet becomes less English

    A recent study conducted by Global Reach, an Internet marketing company, shows that non-English speakers now outnumber native English speakers in terms of online users, indicative of an accelerating trend towards localised content across the Internet. Non-English speakers account for 59.8% of of all Internet users, with 9.8 percent Chinese-speaking, and 9.2% Japanese-speaking.
