    US Advertising recession is ending

    The US advertising recession is at an end with television and radio leading the way, according to research by UBS Warburg.

    The investment bank raised its 2002 forecast to growth of 1% from contraction of 2% that they recently predicted for 2002. US advertising spending fell almost 10% during 2001.
