Saltwater Girl rides the wave

The Jan-June 2004 ABC's have just been released and in the hugely competitive teen female category, Durban-based Saltwater GIRL remains the category leader with a circulation of 28 163, just pipping Seventeen at the post. John McCarthy, Associate Publisher of Saltwater GIRL Magazine explains: "Saltwater GIRL has always been positioned at the cool end of teenage female category. By virtue of our positioning we have sought to be the most influential magazine servicing this market but not necessarily the biggest."
