DC Studios wins Canadian Film Festival award

Johannesburg-based DC studios recently made waves in Toronto, Canada. Young director Francois Driessen and the rest of the DC Studios team walked away with the prize for "Best Documentary" at the 2003 Toronto One Minute Film and Video Festival. Jahmil XT Qubeka from DC Studios was the Director of Photography on the project, and the sound was designed by Richard Aronson from Human Worldwide. The documentary highlights the harsh tragedy of HIV/AIDS and the safe refuge of the Botshabelo home for AIDS Orphans.
