NSPCA threatens reality show with criminal charges
The National Council of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA) has warned that they could lay criminal charges against everyone involved in a Scandinavian reality TV show to be filmed in the Western Cape in December in which contestants could be expected to kill farm animals for food. The NSPCA is concerned that the animals could suffer unduly without the precautions usually taken in registered abattoirs.
