    e.tv reprimanded by BCCSA

The Broadcasting Complaints Commission of SA has reprimanded e.tv for showing age-restricted movies during family prime time. Two movies in question, Pulp Fiction and The Crow, which carry an age restriction of 18 and older, were screened on Saturdays at 8pm instead of between 9pm and 5am as stipulated by broadcasting regulations. If in the future e.tv is found guilty of a similar offence the station could face a fine of up to R40 000.
