Malala to edit ThisDay

Justice Malala, former senior political writer for the Financial Mail, and presently in charge of setting up the Sunday Times bureau in New York, will be returning home to take on the editorship of ThisDay. While the launch date of the new daily newspaper is yet to be confirmed, Malala's appointment will be effective from February 1.
