Siemens recognises top ICT achievers

Siemens Telecommunications sponsored two award categories, namely the Top ICT Educator in Africa and the Top ICT Youth Innovator in Africa, at the eighth annual African ICT Achievers Awards that took place this weekend at the Sandton Convention Centre. This sponsorship signals the company's commitment to education and skills development in an industry where there is a shortage of advanced engineering and technology skills, and also forms part of Siemens' efforts to "bridge the digital divide" and ensure sustainability across the sector.
