Possible African lottery

The African Association of State Lotteries met in Johannesburg over the weekend in what is seen as the first step in the formation of a lottery policy for all member nations, with a view to establishing an eventual continent-wide lottery consisting of a cash pool from about 25 countries. At the meeting it was agreed that first a regional lottery would be established to be held among SADC countries, perhaps once a quarter.
