Bruwer Raats, Morné Vrey join Cape Winemakers Guild

Bruwer Raats of Raats Family Wines and Morné Vrey of Delaire Graff Estate in Stellenbosch have joined the Cape Winemakers Guild. The guild extends membership Invitations to winemakers who have been responsible for the production of outstanding wines for a minimum of five years and who continue to do so.

Raats's career in winemaking spans 16 years in which he has specialised in Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc and while Vrey has spent less time in the winemaking industry, he has collected an impressive amount of accolades including ones from Old Mutual, Veritas, Decanter and Concours Mondial.
