Wrapping luggage for brand awareness
Alternative media company Top of Mind has recently been wrapping the OUTsurance brand on air travellers' suitcases. “About 25000 pieces of luggage per month are wrapped in heavy duty plastic at Cape Town and Durban airports,” says Top of Mind CEO, Daniel Goss. “We thought it would offer our clients an excellent opportunity to place their brands on the wrapping and to increase brand awareness.” Adds Peter Cronje, head of marketing for OUTsurance, “We also realised that there was a similarity between the concept of people wrapping their bags to protect them against damage and what we do.” OUTsurance is reporting leads from day one of the three-month campaign.
