Google shuts down Plus platform
Through a blog post, Google announced that it intends on shutting down its Plus social network. The announcement follows the discovery of a flaw that could have potentially leaked the personal information of up to 500,000 users.
The flaw could have allowed up to 438 external apps to scoop up usernames, email addresses, occupations, genders, and ages without authorisation.
