Facebook relaunches Preferred Marketing Developer (PMD) programme
As one of only 260 technology companies worldwide awarded with the Preferred Marketing Developer (PMD) status, Popimedia welcomes Facebook's recent announcement regarding its programme.
Facebook's PMD programme was created to 'help businesses scale their marketing efforts on Facebook'. Recently, it announced changes to the programme, following intensive market research that revealed, among other findings, that customers were having difficulty identifying which providers offered the best fit with their organisation. As a result, the value of partnering with a PMD was sometimes not being realised.
Clients are now able to identify partners easily through a single badge, which signifies that they have met or exceeded Facebook Partner standards. Breaking away from the four badges awarded under the PMD banner, partners will now be recognised according to areas of specialisations.
