Ryan Seacrest to return as host of American Idol

EWN reports that Ryan Seacrest is set to return to his previous role as the talent competition show's host. The news was confirmed on Live with Kelly and Ryan Thursday morning by talk show host Kelly Ripa. Seacrest has been American Idol's host for its previous 15 seasons.
