Second Lilizela Tourism Award win for The Boardwalk Hotel

The Lilizela Tourism Award for excellence in the five-star meetings, exhibitions and special events category has been awarded to the five-star Boardwalk Hotel, Convention Centre and Spa - in 2015, The Boardwalk Hotel also won the Lilizela Tourism Award for excellence in the five-star accommodation category.

The award was presented to The Boardwalk's operations manager, Peter Tshidi at the Eastern Cape provincial awards ceremony in East London

The Lilizela Tourism Awards, launched in 2013, identifies and celebrates tourism business for service excellence, their contribution to South Africa's global competitiveness, growing tourism's contribution towards GDP and job creation.
