ATNS to launch first African air traffic association
The Air Traffic Navigation Services (ATNS) will launch the South African Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel Association (SAATSEPA) at the seventh IFATSEA African Region Conference. The SAATSEPA will be overseen by the International Federation of Air Traffic Safety Electronics Associations and is aimed at providing a platform for the exchange of experience and technical knowledge to facilitate the provision of engineering support and safety to the air traffic management community.
Despite the fact that SAATSEPA is the first association of its kind in Africa, it will comply with the global standard in terms of technology and support from other air traffic safety electronics personnel (ATSEP) associations from around the world.
