Virgin Active to invest in water saving efforts

In light of the recent water shortages in South Africa, particularly in the Western Cape, Virgin Active South Africa has indicated that it would invest a further R20 million in its Western Cape clubs and has committed to rolling out its water resilience efforts to its clubs nationally.

Virgin Active SA has noted a 61% drop in municipal water use since 2016 after it instituted operational efficiencies and made infrastructural changes, such as greywater systems.
