ITN archive to be made available on Getty Images
ITN and Getty Images have entered a distribution partnership that will see ITN broadcasts available to licence on Getty's platform. In South Africa, ITN's archive will be available to licence via Gallo Images Johannesburg as it is Getty Images' exclusive representative in the sub-Saharan Africa region.
Getty Images will create specific ITN collections to house archive; it consists of 400,000 digitised and ready-to-licence video clips and over 600,000 clips which will be text searchable on the Getty Images website and supplied on demand via an offline workflow. The collection will be updated daily, with agenda-setting news footage made available to Getty Images' international customer base within 24 hours after its initial broadcast.
