Hundreds of media professionals, academics and activists have gathered to take part in the discussions around the theme "Africa Rising? How the media frame the continent's geopolitics, trade and economic growth". Our continent tallied a total of 31 Olympic medals - how amazing is that? Leading the pack with the most amount of medals are: Kenya - 11; Ethiopia - 7 and South Africa - 6, followed by Egypt, Algeria, Uganda, Botswana and Gabon also winning medals.
