If you ever doubted the future of the technological, digital, broadcast and media development on this continent, a number of great things are happening on the continent: Afri-Tech is set to host a Technology & Digital Summit, following a successful internet and digital marketing conference in Nairobi in June. The summit aims to inject the uptake of technology in Africa. Subscribers of the DStv Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, Family and Access bouquets across sub-Saharan Africa can now watch Nickelodeon, following its launch last week. Those in Namibia can now go and purchase their very own Apple iPad after the Core Group announced that Incredible connection Windhoek will be the first official authorised reseller of the iPad. In Nigeria, TMKG, a specialist out of home media audit company in Nigeria, has won an award for the most outstanding media monitoring company in the outdoor media sector of the advertising industry at the annual 'Brand As King' Awards for its work on Billboard Magazine.
