And so the planning begins...That's planning for 2015 of course, not your Christmas lunch... What will your focus be next year? David Alves suggests eight things to consider when plotting your 2015 digital marketing strategy. Elsa Gouws reckons the global war for talent is intensifying, making it increasingly difficult for businesses without strong employer brands to be competitive; and Leigh Andrews, covering the DMX Conference, shares Andrew Glenister of GraphicMail's examples of how to optimise email newsletters - specifically for mobile. Keeping on the topic of mobile, according to John-William Awbrey, as the growth in mobile communications brings about a revolution in market research, it is the vast continent of Africa that is leading the way. He says that though some may be reticent to adopt mobile solutions, the advantages are too big for African researchers to ignore. In other news, Airtel has launched its 'Catapult-a-Startup' initiative, and Opera Mediaworks has acquired South African premium mobile-advertising network, AdVine. That's all from me! Cheers!
