The platform is lead by Editor, Charles Onyango-Obbo from the head office in Nairobi, Kenya. Google kicked some dust in Apple's eyes as it was named the world's most valuable global brand in the 2014 BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brand ranking. With an increase of 40% year-on-year, Google is now worth $159bn. CNN has announced the Energy & Infrastructure category in this year's CNN MultiChoice African Journalist Awards, a new category sponsored by General Electric (GE). Remember that entries for the awards close on 30 May. Coinciding with Africa Month, 2000FM has decided to take action by launching a new campaign called Africa Fridays, aiming to save the Nigerian school girls who were abducted in April.
