Where did those Facebook pics go?

So the other day I was logged on to my Facebook account, looking for some old pictures that I was tagged in at a certain event. I knew exactly when the event was, so I used the timeline tool to go directly to that point in time. To my surprise, those pictures were no longer showing. I then realised that the pictures of that event was uploaded by by the administrator of that group or page (yes, there is a difference). I then contacted the administrator to find out what happened to the page, because I wanted to look at those specific pictures. Shocked to find out that the page had been deleted, I asked myself the question, 'so where have those pictures disappear to?' Cyberspace perhaps?

Off I went to the Facebook Help Centre in search of an answer...I still haven't found out what happens to those pictures. I then got side tracked and started reading various topics that include Privacy, Popular Features, Community Forum and there's a whole lot more. I would strongly advise anybody who uses the platform to have a read through and become familiar with how to better their experience and get the most out of Facebook.
