The 2013 edition saw many of the world's brightest talents from across various creative industries descend on Cape Town, South Africa for the conference and expo. In our special Design Indaba section, Terry Levin covers most of what went down at the conference. Have a look at some of the pics from the fashion shows to all the latest designer innovations at the expo. As I write this weeks column, the Kenyan elections is currently taking place. All eyes are on Kenya after a political, economic, and humanitarian crisis erupted in Kenya after president Mwai Kibaki was declared the winner of the presidential election held in 2007. With 3 TV correspondents and an online reporter, Al Jazeera covers the elections and provide viewers with in-depth reporting and analysis - before, during, and after the elections. In other news from around the continent, Forbes Africa magazine launches its first ever digital edition. The app is available on Windows 8, Android and iOS. In Uganda, the deadline for SIM card registration has been exteneded until 29 May 2013. Alliance Media has been chosen to erect billboards in Kenya as Visa and Shell have teamed up to unveil a new campaign. Have a great good week!
