VH1 Classic replaces VH1, celebrates golden oldies
Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Africa, behind MTV, MTV Base, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and BET, will offer a new music channel from this week. Replacing VH1 on the DStv platform with VH1 Classic, Channel 323 will offer all-time music hits and legendary artists from the '70s, '80s, '90s and early '00s. It will be available in Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
