Bizcommunity, ready for 2010 With about three days to go till 2010 FIFA World Cup festivities and matches get underway, people around South Africa are showing their support by donning car mirror gloves, decorating shop windows and dressing up the office as well as homes and waving their flags like never before. Bizcommunity too is joining in the fun with the sound of a miniature vuvuzela announcing lunch-time and flags and balls showing off our soccer fever. We'll be hosting some fun country-specific lunches and will have a betting pool going in-house.

South African design firm CopperCoast's iLove logo, designed by creative director Pierre Joubert, has been awarded the Best of Continent/Africa Award in the Worlwide Logo Design Annual 2009 (Wolda '09) competition. The logo was awarded for its original concept and design excellence after being selected by a three-tier jury. 
Global Education, an international specialist youth agency, briefed boutique design studio Santana Graphix at the end of April 2010 to provide a new look for its stationery, electronic signatures, posters and flyers specifically created for an upcoming international education conference and generic print advertisements. 
The shortlist of finalists for the third edition of the African Business Awards has been announced. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner at the Grosvenor House hotel in London, UK on Monday, 21 June 2010. 
The winners of the 2010 Museke Online Africa Music Awards (MOAMAs) have been announced. Lizha James, Dama do Bling, Amr Diab, Ralph Anselmo and Perola have emerged multiple winners of the inaugural awards. The winners were selected based on African music fan votes. 
Koowee, the multi-language children's television channel in Africa is aimed at children under the age of six. It was conceptualised by M-Net to be the first multi-lingual kids channel in Africa. | Galleries |
