SEACOM connectivity spreads across East Africa

SEACOM, Uganda Telecom (UTL) and Rwandatel SA (RTL) announced yesterday, 25 August 2009, a partnership to extend the reach of international broadband capacity across eastern Africa. Inter Press Service (IPS) Africa is hosting a training workshop for journalists and plans to produce a conference newspaper in Maputo, Mozambique, where approximately two hundred government officials, professors, farmers and researchers from southern Africa are meeting next week to discuss agriculture and economic development.
