Variété is the spice of life!Cape Town's city centre is set to host the inaugural FNB Variété Festival from 6 to 20 October. The project uses unconventional theatre venues across the city and boasts a selection of top local and international acts, including Marc Lottering as few have ever seen him before. "We have put a lot of thinking into the planning and potential growth of the festival," said producer Eddy Cassar. "We have devised a five-year plan, which will see the festival grow, embracing certain nodes in the city." ![]() ![]() Sixty-five performancesThere will be a total of 65 performances over the two-week period, each of which is set in an intimate space:
