African start-ups receive innovation grants from Microsoft
Microsoft has awarded five African start-ups across Kenya, Uganda and Nigeria with innovation grants through its 4Afrika Initiative.
The grants will reportedly "provide the financial support needed to cross borders and empower the next generation of developers and entrepreneurs in Africa," reports BusinessNews.
The selected start-ups are:
- access.mobile (Uganda)
- Africa 118 (Kenya)
- Gamsole (Nigeria)
- Kytabu (Kenya)
- Save & Buy (Nigeria)
