The company currently offers online e-learning solutions for the ITIL Foundation training. Attendees who take the course via the company can do so at their own pace, from anywhere in the world and they have 90 days to complete it.

"The fact that we are seeing a peak in demand for ITIL courses from throughout the continent is indicative of the need for a more standards-based approach to project management," states Kerry Evans, managing director at Quintica South Africa.

    Affordable to businesses

"A key differentiator for our business is that Quintica is able to provide this training online through our e-learning option, and that, after extensive testing, the connectivity speeds when accessing the site from areas such as the DRC are not hampered or affected," she adds.

According to Evans the main attraction to African businesses around the e-learning option is that it becomes affordable to businesses throughout remote regions on the continent, as they no longer have to fly staff to destinations and put them up in accommodation in areas that offer the training.
