Clinique, MAC to enter sub-Saharan Africa
Due to the strong demand for luxury cosmetics among sub-Saharan Africa's middle class, Estee Lauder plans to expand its Clinique and MAC brands into the region, reports Reuters.

According to the Reuters report, Estee Lauder's Clinique brand will be available in Nigeria this year and will be made available in Mozambique in the near future. The report states that, according to Sue Fox, Estee Lauder's managing director for sub-Saharan Africa, MAC has been available in Nigeria since February "after being 'inundated' with requests and will be opening another store there within weeks." MAC will also be adding new partner stores in Botswana and Zambia.
