Engen International business gala dinner and awards evening

This is the first time that the dinner has been held and Engen country managers from all over sub-Saharan Africa were present to represent their respective regions which included Ghana, DRC, Botswana, Burundi, Mozambique, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Zambia, Kenya and Nigeria.

Seven awards were given out in total and Engen Namibia won the top prize of "International Business Affiliate of the Year."

The other IBD prize categories and winners were as follows:

1. Best Credit Management: Engen Namibia
2. Retail Performer of the Year: Engen Uganda
3. Commercial Performer of the Year: Engen Mozambique
4. Supporter of the Year (affiliate individual): Christian Musindi
(East Africa Supply and Logistics - Kenya-based)
5. Supporter of the Year (South Africa individual): Henry Verhoeven (Regional Finance Manager - West Africa)
6. Operating Profit Target Exceeded: Four winners
