MTN speakers partake in AfricaCom 2010
A number of MTN executives will form part of the lineup of speakers at AfricaCom 2010, hosted in Cape Town, South Africa from 10-11 November 2010. This is the third year that MTN has sponsored the annual telecoms conference.
- Karel Pienaar, MD of MTN South Africa, will give an interview on 'Regional strategies for the next stage of growth in Africa'.
- Themba Khumalo, MTN Uganda CEO, will give a presentation in the Mobile Money session, with particular emphasis on the mobile money ecosystem in Africa.
- Angela Gahagan, MTN Business managing executive, will be part of a Broadband Data Panel that will discuss: Generating revenues from broadband services.
- MTN Group 2010 FIFA World Cup general manager, Cambridge Mokanyane will give a presentation on 'The impact of the 2010 FIFA World Cup on mobile services
- Peter Malebye, MTN South Africa GM for innovation and operations will talk about 'Examining the growing mobile content ecosystem in Africa'.
- Megan Arthur, MTN GM: customer development and retention, will deliver a presentation entitled 'Innovative loyalty strategies to reduce churn'.
