PRTV launches new studios
The studios will be open to select invitees and media on Friday, 19 April 2013 for a tour and a debriefing on the new PRTV channel and "Good Morning Africa". The new PRTV studios comprise of Automated Camera Switching, Voice detection systems, and Virtual set Controls.
Showcasing the studios
The PRTV tour will include a comprehensive showcase of the new studios, a presentation on the upcoming television channel by Mabel Mabaso, COO and director at Planet Image Productions, and appearances by some of PRTV's celebrity faces such as Rorisang Thandekiso (YO TV and Good Morning Africa), Mimi K (MTV Europe and Channel O), Kwaku Tutu (Big Brother Africa), Penny Lebyane, and HHP.

PRTV - the African platform
The new PRTV channel will broadcast 80% African music and lifestyle and 20% international music targeting 13-35 year old viewers. PRTV will focus on all aspects of music from Africa, including modern popular music.
The channel is focused on portraying the importance of culture, music and dance traditions from across the continent. PRTV is the platform where Africans from around the globe meet and enjoy African stories, music, fashion, innovations and culture. The channel was first launched in June 2011 and was solely available as an online radio station until now.
