FX's Only in Africa win at SAFTA's

FX, which airs the Only in Africa documentary strand, was awarded multiple awards at the South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAS), recently held in Johannesburg, South Africa, after steering off stiff competition on the night.

The awards, held over the weekend delivered a message about excellence for FOX International Channels and the content the company broadcasts throughout the African continent.

Awards included:

Best Editor of a Documentary, Ronelle Loots: Robert Mugabe - What Happened
Best Cinematographer of a Documentary, Ryley Grunenwald: The Dawn of a New Day
Best Director of a Documentary, Ryley Grunenwald: The Dawn of a New Day.

FOX Africa director, Thandi Davids said: "We are extremely proud of the winners and more so our commitment to constantly bringing quality and now evidently, award winning African programming to all our viewers."
