With Jay Leno in the prime time slot of 9pm CAT, other flagship shows such as Mansfield's Money Sense and Captains of Industry will move to an earlier time slot of 8:30pm CAT.

Chief editor at CNBC Africa, Godfrey Mutizwa says that the new programming grid will attract new viewers in addition to the normal markets viewers: "With Jay Leno there is already a different audience we are appealing to but with the new markets shows, we add an exciting edge that we hope will also attract a broader audience."
