    BCE COO to attend Africa Future TV Summit 2009

    Tun Van Rijswijck, chief operating officer of Broadcasting Centre Europe (BCE) will be attending the Africa Future TV Conference 2009. The event is scheduled for 3 - 4 August 2009 at the Sandton Sun in Johannesburg, South Africa.

    BCE is a European technical services provider in the areas of television, radio, production and postproduction, telecommunication and IT. Van Risjswick, will deliver a paper focusing on tapeless distribution worldwide at the conference and is also representing his company who are sponsors of the event.

    Special projects editor of ITNewsafrica.com, Samuel Mungadze, said, "We are definitely doing something positive for the continent. The support from BCE just goes to confirm how important our work is in pushing the African development agenda."

    Over 80 high profile guests have confirmed their attendance the gathering and will address issues pertinent to the industry.

    Africa Future TV 2009 will explore issues in digital media, mobile solutions and broadcasting: mobile TV, digital migration, new digital media, HDTV, IPTV, interactive TV, and multiplatform etc. The conference will also examine the latest ideas in digital television development including successes and operational management strategies.
