New senior appointment for Discovery Networks
Based in London, Kurz will be responsible for providing consumer-based strategic guidance and research across Discovery's Emerging Markets line of business with a focus on key ad sales-driven markets including Russia, South Africa and Turkey.
Kurz has worked for international brands in the research industry for the past nine years. He joins Discovery from Disney-ABC Networks Group in London, where he served as director, brand strategy and marketing research. Prior to that, he was television research director for Warner Bros. International Television, where he was responsible for providing strategic insight on consumers, brand positioning, programming and scheduling.
