MEA expansion for Grey Juice Lab

Grey Juice Lab has recently expanded its presence in Middle East and Africa with the opening of a new regional content marketing and commercial hub in Dubai Media City.
MEA expansion for Grey Juice Lab

The company is one of the world's leading providers of premium VOD content services. It works with telecom operators across the globe to implement content strategies that attract subscribers to their OTT services and ultimately increase revenue. It has licensing agreements in place with all major Hollywood studios, as well as international, regional and local content owners. It also provides content and service strategy; content processing and delivery; content promotion and revenue optimisation.

The new office is under the direction of Grey Juice Lab's EMEA Regional Director, Remi Olivan. It aims to serve the company's existing MEA clients better, whilst capitalising on the growing OTT opportunities in the region.

Olivan said, "This is a strategic step which demonstrates our commitment to our current and prospective customers in the MEA. It also reflects our confidence in the growth potential of these markets. Operating in the heart of Dubai's Media City is not only important to our ongoing client service and management, but we also see it as an easier way for us to work with our customers and partners across the region."

Working closely with Grey Juice Lab's headquarters in Barcelona and other regional hubs in London, Paris, Buenos Aires and Kuala Lumpur, the new Dubai office will also house the company's key content marketing team, which will drive the company's content promotions and revenue optimisation strategy across the globe.

CEO, Mihai Crasneanu, added, "As increased bandwidth and awareness pushes the demand for OTT across the Middle East and Africa, it becomes crucial for any new or existing player not only to gain access to premium content in a quick, flexible and sustainable way but also to promote and monetise that service to maximise revenue potential. We are the only independent content aggregator committed to the region offering the whole range of premium on-demand content rights and services."

The MEA team, including Remi Olivan, will be available at AfricaCom/TV Connect Africa in Cape Town from 17-19 November 2015.
