The African Creative Economy Conference takes place in Cape Town, South Africa, from 6-9 October 2013. It follows popular annual conferences already held in Nairobi, Kenya and Dakar, Senegal under the auspices of Arterial Network. This is a continent-wide grouping of individuals, organisations, donors, companies and institutions engaged in the African creative and cultural sectors.

The conference is an opportunity to empower yourself in a three-day intensive programme of exchanging cutting-edge information and innovative ideas. Delegates will focus on unlocking the potential of the continent's creative industries (Africa's share of the global creative economy is currently less than 1%) while interrogating their role and contribution as drivers of development and culture.
