    Wastex Africa set for May 2013

    The Wastex Africa exhibition and indaba is a pan-African initiative, created with the objective of providing a platform to showcase products, services and the latest technology relating to waste management, recycling, environmental protection and sustainability. The indaba/conference is set for 29-31 May 2013 at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa.

    One of the aims of the Wastex Africa event is to educate, inspire and motivate the entrepreneurial spirit amongst individuals, encouraging them to be proactive with business expansion and job creation in waste management, recycling, environmental protection and sustainability.

    Subjects of government policies and strategies on the green economy and environmental sustainability and the acceleration of small business creation in the waste industry will be debated.

    A large scale media campaign including PR, Radio, TV, electronic media and street poster campaign are scheduled to attract targeted visitors to the event. Embassy delegations from African countries as well as municipality officials have been invited to attend.

    Businesses that are relevant to the waste management and recycling and/or environmental protection sector, are invited to showcase their business. Business opportunities are optimised due to match-making meetings, ensuring you are meeting with ideal potential clients.
