Allon Raiz to speak at Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2015
On behalf of President Obama, The White House has invited Allon Raiz, CEO Raizcorp, to speak at the upcoming summit. Raiz is regarded both locally and globally as a pioneer and maverick in the business incubation industry, and is the founder and CEO of Raizcorp - the only privately held, unfunded, profitable business incubator on the African continent, which is currently supporting in excess of 500 businesses.
On receiving the invitation, Raiz proudly says: "It's not every day that you receive an email from The White House, which opens with 'On behalf of President Obama, I'm honoured to invite you to speak...'. I'm delighted to have been selected to speak at the 6th Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Kenya, and will be taking part in a workshop on Speciality Incubators and Innovation Hubs, which will highlight their roles in supporting the development of the next generation of entrepreneurs.
"I'm proud to be representing South Africa at the summit, especially since this affirms that we as a country are considered a leader in business incubation globally. I'm looking forward to meeting with other global players in the field of entrepreneurship, learning about new models, hearing other viewpoints, and sharing our local learnings with other practitioners."
