Future Publishing SA, Tradeblazers enter partnership
From April, the additional copies of Business Traveller Africa will feature up to 16 pages dedicated to the Nigerian travel industry with a special focus on business travel. The venture could lead to an entirely separate edition of the publication in the future.
The new development aims to provide travel companies in Nigeria a platform to target business travellers, and offer a direct way for South African travel products to reach Nigerian corporates.
Richard Lendrum, founding director of Future Publishing, says: "This joint venture is exactly in line with our envisioned plans to expand Business Traveller Africa into the rest of Africa. We are looking forward to a prosperous relationship with our new business partners...our companies are well poised to make the union a success.”
Tope Ogbeni-Awe, chief service officer of Tradeblazers Nigeria, says: “The joint venture between Tradeblazers Ltd-Nigeria, publishers of Business Travel Briefing and Future Publishing, publishers of Business Traveller Africa, is the first of its kind in the niche African travel publishing sector.”
“We are very excited at the emergence of this veritable alliance that will contribute to the growth of the economies of both countries and further strengthen existing bilateral relations,” says Ogbeni-Awe.
